Blessings Bags

The hospitals in Great Falls serve a very large geographic area in central and northern Montana. Many patients find themselves over a hundred of miles from home, perhaps unexpectedly, without connections or resources. After learning first-hand that many people going to the hospital do not have everything they need for a hospital stay, our members decided to step up and fill this need.

We collect basic toiletries (needed items show up periodically in the bulletin) and then meet after worship from time to time to assemble these into "blessing bags" that are distributed to hospital patients to the Benefis Hospital, including the Native American Welcoming Center.
