LIFE Group Leaders and Topics for 2025-26

Matt & Hannah Burleson -- This group will focus on Bible study with lots of life application. We will be studying the book of 1 Corinthians together. The group will most likely follow the LIFE Group meeting schedule (meeting approximately 2x each month).

Skip and Kye Ann Sterner -- This group will focus on Christian evidences, pursuing answers to the question, "Why do we believe today when many people are so skeptical?" The group will use Tim Kellers book The Reason for God.

Scott & Patty Laird (Group 1) -- This group will be focused on the leadership emergence training process, a year-long journey in exploring the way God has providentially equipped us to serve his purpose in our lives. Given the highly intensive nature of LET, if you are interested, please reach out to Scott and Patty directly about possibly signing up.

Colton & Alana Raw -- This group is primarily gear to our Young Adults. They will be continuing their previous study on the book of Romans. They meet every week, usually on Sundays. For more information, reach out to Colton or Alana.

Ross & Sue Lukkason -- This group is a weekly, ongoing evangelistic Bible study that uses Core 52 by Mark Moore as a resource. Usually it meets on Monday evenings in the home of Bob & Pam Alfred. Because this group is continuing from a previous study, they are not currently signing up new people. If you have any questions, please reach out directly to Ross or Sue.

Norm & Toni Hilton -- This group is continuing their previous group for a second year, and they are welcoming additional participants. They will be studying the book of Acts using Warren Wiersbe's material Be Dynamic and Be Daring. They plan to meet on Tuesday evenings in the GFCC fellowship hall.

Joe & Melanie Metcalf -- This group will be studying the book of James. They plan to cover approximately one chapter per meeting. Participants will need to have read the chapter before the group meeting. The group will meet approximately once per month.

Sam & Melissa Kolb -- This group will study spiritual warfare together. It will meet on Monday nights.

Ted & Launa Fallat -- This group is continuing their previous group for a second year. They will be focus on strengthening relationships. The group will use Emerson Eggerich's book, Love and Respect. Because this group is continuing from a previous study, they are not currently signing up new people.

Jim & Carol Sturdivant -- This group will study how Jesus formed his original twelve disciples into a force that forever changed the world. Using John MacArthur's book Twelve Ordinary Men, it will explore how God might transform us to serve his purposes too.

Erik & Toni Harman -- This group will be one attempt to answer the question, "How do we stay close to Christ in a world of chaos?" Using Darryl Dash's book, How to Grow, this group will attempt to help us discover how the Spiritual Disciplines help us tap into the grace we need to say close to Jesus in everyday life.

Deaf Group -- Sheryl Lute -- This group will be primarily focused on serving our deaf members and guests, but anyone is welcome to join them whether deaf or hearing. The group will be studying Scripture and exploring at a very simple, practical level how to grow closer to Jesus. This group will meet on LIFE Group Sundays in the GFCC fellowship hall from 10 am to 12 noon.
